So the end of 2006 is drawing to a close and for todays picture I have decided to look back at all photos put up for 2006 and pick the one that means the most to me, and it has to be this one.

This was the day my life changed forever when Rebecca was born. 5 and a half months on she still brings happiness to my day.

So what else did 2006 bring, well my new camera, which I have to say is great fun although very expensive as hobbies go.

And resolutions for the new year, take more photos, try to get back to posting an image a day (its damn hard though), try to give up smoking and finally enjoy every moment I have with my family.

Well christmas came and went and I apologise to anyone who reads this blog for the lack of pictures been put up over the christmas break. Santa came and left lots of plastic noisy bright lighty things for Rebecca, I have the money now for my external flash, Paula got a day trip to Powerscourt health farm, and the family got themselves a brand spanking new 32 inch Sony V series Bravia television.

So I think this picture will be my christmas picture for this year, its from an illuminated village we have on our bay window. Since there was no snow in Ireland this is as close as I can get to snow this year.

So all that remains is to say I hope everyone enjoys the remainder of their holidays and all the best for 2007.

This was taken the following morning after yesterdays photo, yep Ireland is been hit by fog morning and evening with a heavy frost to add to the mix. I have to say though fog makes some interesting shots.

Yay I got the camera out again, I just had too. Last night in Dublin a very dense fog came down and I got this photo from the “smoking deck” in work. I really like the moodiness the fog created.

I hate doing this but I have been so busy with my real job and christmas parties that I aint been out shooting at all lately, hence another shot from the archives.

This was taken during the year while on holidays in Lanzarote from my apartment balcony. I really like the green wood that came out from the wall.

With work mental busy at the moment this is what I wish for, to fly away, fly away to somewhere with snow, now that would make christmas rather then the heavy winds and rain that Ireland is been battered with.

This picture does not have any Exif info since it was taken with my G6 and I can get access to the exif now since I had saved for web months ago before I even considered exif info.

Well I went out to the garden yesterday as a Robin bounced about, he is building a nest next door and picking up old bamboo leaves that are scattered around my garden. Well he bounced to quick and I did not get the photo I was hoping for but got this shot instead, of my Austrailian Tree Fern.
