Yep still have so many photos from Stockholm Sweden to show. We went to the Butterfly house in Stockholm which is 800 square meters in size and the environment is tropical. The temperature never goes below 25 degrees during the day, and 18 during the night. The humidity is high, just as the butterflies like it.By god did we sweat it, but I got lots of pictures of some very exotic butterflies which fly freely around yo, it really was quite amazing.

On another note, no I am not becoming a media whore as Ryan put it, but yes I was on radio again this time on “the last word with Matt Cooper” to talk about photoblogging and Flickr. I was also joined in Studio by freelance Journalist Adam Maguire who arrived with his notepad full of research notes and facts and figures. I arrived with my wooly hat, no research etc, what was I thinking!

Anyhow by all accounts it went well and can be heard here, I am also thinking a page with all interviews shall be created as a log for Rebecca of what Daddy did when he was young.

I love ducks, especially the aromatic ones, whoops, no they make great subjects to photograph since you can get so close to them. But on my way into work this morning I could not help but feel sorry for these guys they were freezing, and as the day went on it got colder, now there is a risk of snow for tomorrow.

How do these guys survive.

My second wordpress post and so far everything is going well, A few extra things have been added today namely you can subscribe to comments, so any comments after one you may have placed will be emailed to you.

Secondly I have added a Contact me tab up in the navigation menu if you want to email me directly.

This shot was taken when I was at Dublin Zoo what feels like an eternity ago.

Herons hang around the penguin enclosure waiting for feeding time and when the penguins get fed the herons go mad flying about within arms reach of you, quite scary

I promise this little campaign from Dublin Zoo is nearing an end.

I love orangutans they look so placid and intelligent.

Another thing that amazed me at Dublin Zoo and its rejuvenation was the amount of white rhinos they have staying there, 6 was what I counted, and for such big animals they need space and once again Dublin Zoo has done wonders there.

Wow what a day. Today my other half and I had a day off and decided to take animal loving Rebecca to Dublin Zoo.

My god how the place has changed since I was there about 6 years ago. Dublin Zoo has lost some of the animals I grew up seeing like camels and the polar bears, but the gorillas at the Zoo remain, aswell as loads of other primates. I have loads of pictures to put up, so you have been warned.

Yippee the rain held off today hooray, but I was so busy today in work I had no chance of getting out to get some photographs, so the camera came out at home and I decided to try and get some pictures of my aquarium.

Fish dont stay still at all and make photographing them quite difficult but Angie did decide to stay still for a bit and I managed to get this shot.

In other news, while waiting for my favourite bus, the 145, who should walk past me but Red Mum, and guess what she blanked me. I always knew looking at her photos that we would encounter each other at some point cause she seems to take photos around where I am working during the day in Dublin.

So for Red mum may I recommend checking this photograph out for future reference
