Still on lunch down at the canal just down from Baggot Street, this guy allowed me to take a hell of a lot of pictures of him without being to bothered, I have to say I am quite pleased with this one any bad comments will be deleted hehe.

    Cool pic, love the green. I am surprised he is not in some way mutated if he lives on the canal though. No shopping trolley growing out of his head or anything…..

    You did a good job of capturing this

    I think a little more photoshop work would make it very strong

    1. the back f his head, maybe do a little more work with an extra high exposure from the raw

    and i would be tempted to push the saturation on the beak a little just to make it pop a little more

    have you done some background blurring in photoshop to this image?? as there is a little bit of a halo around the beak.

    Thanks for the comments guys, I have to say the colours came out really well, and also I am quite happy with the sharpness I got aswell. In realation to making the beak pop more, I actually did look at it but it nearly made the duck look unreal due to the vibrance of the green, and background blur is exactly as shot. Finally since the image was taken in Auto mode I cant do anything with the exposure really.
