Photo of the coffee cup is very pro Jon, but a little ‘Stock-Photography’ for my liking… you may be losing a personal side to the photoblog that attracted many people originally. I usually come here to rob unique pictures for websites I’m building but these now look just like any normal stock photo that I can steal from most online photo libraries like Corbis, etc. (Just kidding with you by the way, matey, — I don’t rob them from Corbis anymore since they’ve started digitally fingerprinting their images.)

With regards to the new design — it looks like a lifestyle shot from a ‘Habitat Catalogue’ and, well to be honest, I’ve been to your house and from what I recall it looked nothing like that! … or have you tidied or moved recently?

I like the idea of your head popping out from behind the sofa, but I didn’t notice it a first (by the way, where you watching Doctor Who at the time?) perhaps it would be funnier(?) if you and you camera where appearing in more places in the design – like the plants or the picture frame or just generally around the page — just an idea.

That’s a good photo. Very adverty! A southern diner sort of light, and I can hear ‘That’s why I’m Easaaaay’ playing in the background.
