Darren Greene at Toejam
Another photo from the photomeet at the Toejam car boot sale, this time not taken with my own gear but taken while drooling over Gingerpixels 5d and 85mm prime lens. This is a shot of Darren Greene a photographer I plan on following quite a bit online. He has some excellent shots up and is well worth a view.
Back to the 5d what a beautiful bit of kit, it just felt so right in my hands and as for that lens wow what more can I say.

What a fab portrait. Gingerpixel’s beast of a Canon had mine running into its camera bag! Thanks so much again for the head’s up on our blog’s commenting set-up – I had no idea, and feel very cyber silly for having left it like that so long.
And speaking of Twitter, I just joined today! And now I’m ‘following’ you. Feel a bit stalker-ish, I’ll admit..

Yep Red, it has made me want to spend shit loads of money I dont have, I aint a professional photographer but considering I was just goofing with the camera, I am amazed I could take such a good shot, just shows I can frame an image, even though I thought differently, so I do need the new gear!!!
Nathalie, having you stalking me is an honour, in relation to the commenting set up, it was only brought to my attention that another blog I write on was having similar problems, now the flood gates are open and its great.

Nice one! I must admit to getting a little bit lightheaded with delight when Claire let me have a go of her 85mm at the pre blog awards meet. It’s definately making an appearance on the ever lengthening shopping list.
