Got him at last

Well as you may remember I have been attempting to take a picture of this little guy for about 2-3 months now.
I have bribed him with food and slowly but surely he is beginning to trust me. My main problem is he is hanging around these bushes a lot because he is nesting in there somewhere and so is protecting his area.
He sings every morning from the top of a tree out the back and then does the same at dusk too. Anyhow apologies for the branches but until his kin can leave the nest I think this is the only spot I will photograph him.

Great shot of lovely Robin! surely he’s not ‘nesting’ right now though – far too brrrr cold to bring wee ones into the world no? They are a Very territorial bird though so he might think you’re trying to muscle in on his patch.

You would think but himself and his missus fly back and forth from my pond and bamboo picking up old bamboo leaves and insects and fly back into that bush, so I can only assume there is a nest of some sorts in there somewhere!
