Well I have made the leap to D-SLR.

I got myself a Canon EOS 350d the other day and this is one of my first shots with it, and what a suprise I am in Saint Stephens Green. My poor old G6 has been put back in its box and I plan on selling it in order to get myself another lens.

I took a load of pictures but I think this SLR stuff is going to take me a bit of time to get used to.

    Wow, welcome to the club!! :) A few weeks, feckit, a few days, and you really won’t know yourself and will wonder how you ever managed to get by in life without a DSLR!! :)

    Cheers Daragh, next question is what zoom lens to get for christmas or do I get a speedlite flash. But yes having this camera already has shown me the benefits of SLR.
