Ireland’s Eye Puffins
On Sunday I had the pleasure of going to Ireland’s Eye, just of the coast of Howth. The trip was organised by Peter Donegan and a fantastic day was had by all. Many thanks to Peter for organising it and for giving me the opportunity to shoot a bird I had always wanted to photograph out in the wild, the Puffin.
Ireland’s Eye is home to so many different types of Birds and over the next few days I hope to put them up on blog.

Very nicely taken shot John. Reminds me of Danny. It’s amazing how shots of the bird automatically remind me of Porchfield.

Thank you Shane, yeah it was weird walking around the island and seeing so many of the birds Danny would have taken, I have loads of gannet photos too but none would match Dannys, I may look into putting one up soon though.

I just happened to stumble upon this shot and it really makes me wish I could do some beach photography over at Ireland’s Eye and all the great birds out there. Great shot, hope we can see more birds in a future post!
