Today I decided to go somewhere we have been meaning to go to for ages, Glenroe Farm. Just outside Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow its a great place for little un’s.
All sorts of farmyard animals – cows, sheep, horses, chickens, rabbits, geese, goats you get my drift.
The other great thing about this photograph is the fact that recently I have been getting a lot of stick about being a lazy pig myself so in years to come I can look at this shot and remember the good times!

See, with a little photography skills you CAN make a silk purse out of a sows ear. I have a sudden desperate urge to LOLCat this… “I can has cheezburger? I iz nomnivore.” But somehow that seems a little like dragging down the sublime to the realms of the ridiculous. It’s a great picture, showing the attractive side of a usually less attractive subject.

This is the cutest pig I’ve ever seen in my life! I didn’t know they could be this hairy though. He almost looks like a pug!
