Moonlight and the streetlight

Oh its great although this image does not show it, the evenings are getting longer and I even get a bus in the morning at 7.30 and its bright (although very bloody cold at the moment).

I get home normally between 6.30 and 7pm and the sun generally has just set with an amazing red glow over the wicklow mountains. In a few days I reckon, if the sun keeps shining, I should be able to get a shot of that but for the meantime here is a shot of the moon, giving off loads of light tonight, and the very unnatural light of a street light.

  • Was that moon superimposed John?

Also, you going to get some shots of the up and coming lunar eclipse?

  • Lucky that was how that image came out seemed to get a nice focus on the moon. In relation to the lunar eclipse yep I will try to capture it again although if I manage to replicate last years I will be very suprised. When does it happen anyhow?

Wow poetryman I have no idea what that has to do with this image but thanks for the words of wisdom.
