Todays photo request was all about the awkward crowd shots with everyone in it! Well from up in the gallery I managed to get the whole of the wedding party in one foul swoop.

Tomorrows image will be the last for 2 weeks while I go on my first sun holiday in 3 years, I wont be posting during the holidays but shall be back with great intent on my return

Angry

So today I managed to get the types of pictures people wanted to see from the wedding right up until Saturday when I will be going on holidays.

Today’s outright winner was asking for an angry shot from the day, could have been a parent giving out to a kid or wife giving out to a husband over his tie not being straight! unfortunately the day was such a happy one I only have this photo of the father of the groom the ever so gentle and lovely Tommy, which is not really an angry photo but more of a what the fuck you doing down there type of shot.

Tomorrows photo will be a collage of photos outlining some “details” such as rings, shoes, dress, jewelery etc.

Fridays photo will be “awkward everyone in the group photo” and finally I shall be leaving to go on 2 weeks holidays with my last photo which is the “first kiss”

Tom making his speech

Well today on twitter I asked folk what sort of image would they like me to put up from the wedding to see if I managed to get the shots expected of me.

Informal photo won the day so here is a very informal photo of my sister laughing at something her husband, Tom was saying during his speech, which I must add was very funny along with all the other speeches made.

Check out twitter tomorrow when I shall ask for another wedding related topic to post up tomorrow night.

In other big news I have become the leader of the first Dublin Photowalk on July 18th. This worldwide photowalking day as organised by Mr photoshop himself Scott Kelby proved last year to be a great success, if you are interested in a 2 hour walk with a few drinks afterwards please do register once the 50 places go thats it, there shall be no more places available.

Kate and Toms Wedding

So I have photographed my first wedding, and how lucky was I to have my sister and her new husband as my first one.

I have lots and lots of pictures from the day and will be putting up a few more over the coming days.

Big thanks must go to Ryan and Stephen for the lend of lenses for the weekend, I would have been lost without them guys.

My Certified Accountant Sister

Well today my little baby sister Kate made her confirmation! only kidding got conferred as a certified accountant and it was lovely to have been asked to go to the Helix in DCU to see this momentous occasion for myself. Kate is one of those sorts that has it all, seriously good looks, and a serious brain to boot, and now has another 3 letters to go after the 7 others she has already!

She was the reason I was at Dublin City University 13 years ago when, at the age of 13 she along with a handful of other teenagers and I mean HANDFUL were selected from all over Ireland to participate in a weeks camp for intellectual kids, she was lectured about serious shit that students learn in college, all this at 13! A guy from Nasa gave a lecture to these children about physics and the rest! and here I am 13 years on, looking at her becoming a fully certified accountant. Yep proud as punch am I!

So time for a picture I think, last week my little baby sister got engaged to her long time boyfriend Tom, I am so thrilled for them both! Over the weekend they had a party in their house in Portlaoise to celebrate it.

I decided to take pictures throughout the night to create my first blurb photo book for them as a present, I think I have that almost perfected, but I just had to get one shot of my sister up on the blog in the meantime.

So fair play Tom welcome to the clan etc and thanks to both of you for a great great night.
