Another one of my fave shots from the golf course, it was amazing to see this sunset going behind the Killeshin hills. The cloud line also was amazing.

Yes I am back from Stockholm with over 500 photos to go through, an EF 50 mm f/1.8II and a longing for another break.

I had a ball and our host, Dolly, made me feel very very welcome.

I will be putting up more photos from Sweden when I have some time too, but this was one image I did not want to hold back on, this was taken across the lake to the City Hall in Stockholm. This hall is also where the yearly Nobel Ceremony takes place, but for me the architure mixed with the fantastic skyline really make this photo.

I love these sorts of trails that planes leave behind, it was great that I had my zoom lens on for this shot you can just about make out the plane at the very front of this trail.

Where were they going I wonder?

Bray seafront clouds moving in

Well looking at the clouds coming in over Bray it actually could get worse and did today, started of beautiful with sun and a bit of a breeze then down came the rain, etc etc.

Well thats what happens in Ireland.

What the hell has happened to Ireland or should I say Costa del Eire, we have had fantastic weather for the past few weeks but I feel its all gonna come crashing down on us very soon. A prime example was tonight and my ISS watch or lack of clouds are in so you only saw it on and off and because of the haze from the clouds it was not half as bright as before. Ah well loads more opportunities to see it again before the end of the week.

Clouds coming in

So for the past 5 weeks Ireland has, to many, been blessed in sunshine, well here is a photograph of the change that is coming, clouds have started to reappear and as I type this the sky is actually quite grey with the sun attempting to sneak in.

Yes the rain is forecast for Ireland for the next week, the only good thing is with clouds in the sky I may be able to take some pictures again, us photographers hate blue skies.

FJP and myself went for a walk around town on Thursday to take some more photos, he has a great eye for photographs and pointed out loads of spot I had not photographed before, all of which will make there way up here over the next few days.

This picture on the otherhand was one I wanted to take.

With work mental busy at the moment this is what I wish for, to fly away, fly away to somewhere with snow, now that would make christmas rather then the heavy winds and rain that Ireland is been battered with.

This picture does not have any Exif info since it was taken with my G6 and I can get access to the exif now since I had saved for web months ago before I even considered exif info.

Polarizing the sky

Along with the lens I bought the other day I also bought a polarizing filter and I was dieing to test it out. On Saturday I was in Cabinteely park and took a good load of sky pictures which I will post up over the next few days this one though has to be my favourite. Oh and by the way those black dots in the middle of the picture are birds and not dirt on my sensor.
