You gotta love summer, and the great news is that Ireland seems to be enjoying a lot of sunshine of late. With this in mind the gardens in Powerscourt had to be visited.

The flower beds are all looking stunning, but I imagine that another visit before the summer ends will be in order to see everything in bloom.

  • love it john.
nice that the soil can be seen too. rather than just the perfect flower.

    great shot mate

  • How I could do with a bit of colours on my screen. Haven’t seen much blue sky here lately either!

  • Thank you guys for commenting on the blog, glad you both like the photo.

  • Now that is what I call a stunning photo. Did you have to dig a whole to create that angle?

  • Hi Neil, fortunately I did not have to destroy Powerscourt Gardens for the ideal shot but a raised bed did help.

  • Cracker of a colourful shot John. Makes me smile. Won’t mention the dreaded DoF ;) )
