McAWilliams Photoblog

Happy April fools day one and all, I loved this image when I took it and lightroom made it even better for me, I hope you enjoy it too.

On another note I upgraded to wordpress 2.5 and a few things were corrected today, but all in all I am loving the new look of wordpress, and I would recommend everyone update now. On the 19th of April the photoblog from McAWilliams.com will be 3 years old, and I am thinking of doing something drastic, I am thinking of keeping the photoblog as the main stay here, but also incorporating some written stuff aswell be it about photography, advertising or anything else that springs to mind. I always believed photoblogs should just contain images and feck all writing but as other Irish Photobloggers have proved that does not have to be the case.

I would be very keen to hear what you may think about this idea cause it would be great to update the site for the 19th.

Once again this is another image that I dont know why I like it, I think it has something to do with the colours going from yellow through green to bluish white.

I have also come across a few othe photoblog community sites which can be accessed below the picture such as photoblog-community.com and vfxy.com but as of yet I am awaiting approval from them and lastly coolphotoblogs.comwhich I am also awaiting approval from.

A moody artistic shot which I really like not going to say much more about it only that I decided after a long time to go with the black and white version although the colour one works too.

Another view from Glendalough, this time I have zoomed past the lake in my previous shot and this is the river that flows directly into it from the Wicklow Hills. Its a very desolate landscape up there with very little going on but fantastic all the same.

Ah good ole Saint Stephens Green, never lets you down for an image or two. This is a shot looking over the lake in the park. Pretty non eventful but I have had a major catastrope at home, My monitor has broke down Something from what I can gather to do with the Backlight and Inverter. Think I know what thats all about well I dont but one thing I do know is, it is still under warranty so I should be able to get a replacement or repair soon, but in the meantime my pictures will be slow to refresh. I may be able to get them up from work but that also depends on how busy I am.
