Vodafone 360 and Dita Von Teese
Well what a day, busy in work but the excitement for me was at 2pm today, where I was invited as a blogger to the launch of Vodafone 360. What an amazing device it seems to be, totally down my road since it is a social media whore on a very nice samsung phone.
But as a photoblogger why would I be excited, well Dita Von Teese was going to be there too. Happy days for my camera, or at least that wa the plan, its a shame though that one of the PR companies for Vodafone did not want me to take any photos of the event itself which for me as a photoblogger took all the fun out of it.
Ah well I got one shot in before being told this and yes Dita is a sexy as you think but smaller then I had her down as!
Anyhow it was a pleasure to have been invited and I look forward to seeing what Vodafone 360 has to offer!

Brilliant capture of Dita, who clearly loves to be captured. It pisses me off that a photoblogger is invited to an event and then denied the use of the tools of their trade. Clearly they have no clue.
Anyway, glad you “snuck” one in

I love you’re photos. They always catch so much vibrant colors and emotions. Beautiful. Just like YOU! <3 PJ

Great shot John. You need to learn the predatory skills of Darragh Doyle or Connector Connor to get celeb style shots! You are more of a classier lurker
At least she looks natural here
Tom Raftery says:
Wow, great shot – she is stunning, isn’t she? And a tiny little thing too by the looks of it!
Vodafone though – they had Dita, a new prod launch, and they didn’t want pics? Epic cluelessness.

That’s a nice shot! Especially in what was obviously a dark room, and under pressure to get that pap shot!

Thanks everyone for the comments, well Niall I said it on twitter this sort of photo is more my style anyhow, unless its a photoshoot well then thats different, so actually much happier then I was yesterday with this photo. Dont think I will ever put myself down as the in your face type photographer.
Tom, I dunno who called the shots, may well have been Dita herself asking the PR lady (who is the lady to the left) to ask me to not take pictures, but it was a big thing for Vodafone to do inviting bloggers and what not to such a huge event, from what I know it was their first time doing something this big for bloggers, so in that regard the PR company looking after Dita should have had more cop on. I would imagine since Vodafone 360 is a social media dream that Vodafone have learnt from this.
