White Water Lily

Well what a weekend I have had, everything I did was camera friendly, even more friendly if dumb ass here remembered to take the bleeding thing.

Saturday was spent in town, mainly to pop up to see the Peoples Photography exhibition that was on around Stephens Green. Darren Greene was there as was Treasa and many others from the Boards.ie group, I had planned on doing it, but due to the building works we got done I never got around to it.

So here is a photograph I took up in Powerscourt House and Gardens a few weeks ago of a beautiful white water lily.

  • how on earth do you forget your camera on a trip to the zoo?

  • At least you got to enjoy the zoo with your family, that’s really more important and fun isn’t it?

Gorgeous photo of the lily above. Really love this one.

  • Phil – Please dont talk to me about it, got up at 6am because I started to worry about the battery not been charged, so downstairs I went to get it charged, 9am was fully charged, cleaned the camera and lenses put battery in, packed bag then ran out the door without it, doh.

Donncha – You hit the nail on the head, it was a great day although missed tigers coming right up to the glass, running across the enclosure and all the other photo op’s you could only ever pray for, but yes actually being able to walk around with Rebecca and see her face light up with all the different animals was special.

  • Thanks for dropping by John. It was a great two days and making a sale was the icing on the cake. I even got a follow up sale last week from it.
