So my first image on the new blog has to be from Glendalough. It was one of the reasons I went there over the weekend, to get away from it all but also to bring the camera out again. Glendalough featured many times in my previous blog and I feel it makes sense to let it be the first of many pictures from there I plan on putting up here in the future.

This photo was taken from the top of the valley looking down on the upper lake. As I climbed up to the top the clouds and winds went mad and angry, and I had a few minutes to take the photos I needed to from up there before the heavens opened and the camera and gear were put away. I must admit though I am very happy with the end result.
